User-friendly, clear and practical products – usability engineering is indispensable in medical technology and much more than just a design choice. Medical devices that are not intuitive and have a user interface that is difficult to navigate not only lead to dissatisfaction among users, but also jeopardize patient safety.
Our aim is to increase the efficiency and user-friendliness of medical devices through well thought-out design and thus minimize the risk of operating errors.
In the first step, we want to get to know the users and learn more about their requirements for the medical product. In this phase, also known as user research, we use scientifically proven methods to collect and evaluate relevant results for the further development process.
Based on this, we can develop initial design solutions for our customers, which are tested for user-friendliness in a real test environment. We attach great importance to continuously optimizing medical products until we have achieved a satisfactory result – usability engineering increases the quality of medical products and saves lives.
