As a project manager at Use-Lab, Sebastian Freysoldt is responsible for planning and managing all kinds of projects and for their evaluation. One of his particular strengths is taking into account the technical and economic feasibility of usability enhancement issues.

Résumé

Sebastian Freysoldt joined Use-Lab in March 2006 upon graduation from Ilmenau Technical University as a Biomedical Engineer. During studies in industrial engineering and business management, he acquired broad knowledge in biomedical engineering as well as patent and trademark law and business management.

In addition to the academic training at the university, he obtained international experience in biomedical engineering development and project management. His experience includes one year of military service as a medical serviceman. Several training courses complete his knowledge in human factors engineering.

At Use-Lab Sebastian’s strength is in combining ideas for improving human factors issues with the feasibility of the technical implementation. He is responsible for the planning and processing of projects as well as for reporting. Additionally he takes care of the administration of the IT infrastructure and other technical equipment in Use-Lab's facilities.

Since joining Use-Lab in 2006, he has successfully conducted numerous studies and proven himself a reliable project manager. During these studies he especially gained experience in diabetes care products, ventilation systems, infusion pumps, operating room equipment, radiology and other medical imaging systems.
