As a project manager, Thore Reitz develops and enhances various methods and methodical approaches at Use-Lab.

Thore has a Bachelor of Engineering in Human Technology from Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen in the Netherlands. In his interdisciplinary degree program he was able to gain practical experience in the area of usability testing and user-centered product development. His theoretical knowledge of cognitive psychology was expanded upon during a semester abroad at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.

Thore first came into contact with the medical industry during a two-year stint for the regular rescue service. During this period he became acquainted with the processes involved not only in the rescue service, but also those in operating rooms and emergency wards of various hospitals.

In 2013 Thore successfully completed the additional qualification as “Manager of Regulatory Affairs International (TÜV)”; thus he is your competent contact person for all requests regarding the worldwide certification of medical products. Thore Reitz has been working for Use-Lab GmbH since 2011. Recent project experiences include human factor studies with ICU and OR users working with a variety of medical devices, from beds over infusion technology and endoscopy systems. He also recently conducted scientific marketing claim studies on imaging devices.
