We are looking back on a successful year 2014 with lots of innovations and improvements in Use-Lab's workflows.

Apart from our established services like requirement analyses, user interface design and formative and summative usability evaluation studies in accordance with the international Human Factors standards, we have increased our expertise in conducting marketing claim substantiation studies.

The aim of this kind of studies is to validate certain marketing statements, e.g. regarding the better performance in terms of workflow of a medical product. In cases of wrong (or not provable) usage of marketing claims the FDA may post a Warning Letter, such as in cases of poor manufacturing practices of a medical product.

With the kind permission of Philips Healthcare, we are able to describe in detail the process of a marketing claim substantiation study, conducted by Use-Lab in 2014.
