Use-Lab has been participating in the cross-border project "DAME" for some time now and takes care of the usability engineering.

The Dame project aims at an intuitive deep learning software for medical imaging.

The software is innovative and will solve the current three problems of image analysis in the radiology by deep learning:

  • Recognition of healthy people in mass screenings
  • Detection of deviations that the clinician did not initially look for
  • Analysis of tumor characteristics, which enables individualized treatment

To ensure the successful development of the innovative software, another high-tech SME company is participating in the project: COSMONiO from Groningen is involved in the imaging sector. The interdisciplinary cooperation between SME companies and the health sector on both sides of the border will ensure the successful evaluation and implementation of the innovation.
